Stuart's Corner

I often open the refrigerator door and in this corner find something Stuart didn't want to finish eating, usually bread, cheese, apple or some other tidbit. He's "saving" it for later.

Because Ammon is sick this morning we didn't go to story time at our local library. Josiah was missing the craft he usually gets to do there, so we made our own. When Stuart was finished playing with his pirate and ship he put it in "his" corner.

And that is where I found it.

Up the holler

I know, I know I'm always taking pictures up the holler, but it's so fun and beautiful to boot.


I'm still having fun with my Panoramic feature on this camera. The white building is the house Mike grew up in.


Don't I have the most awesome boys ever? They are turning into good little walkers.

Making crafts is Josiah's favorite part of story time.

Gregg's Game

Yesterday we went to watch Gregg's basketball game in Wytheville, VA. I think Ammon enjoyed it.


It was fun to be back in that setting, the game-a good one, the band, the cheerleading. It made me miss the old days.

Thanks Gregg, for being in the East. It sure was a fun night for us Richardsons.

Making Snow Art

Our first snow of the season! Or at least the first one big enough to make a good sized snowman.

That didn't stop Josiah from making a tiny snowman, finished long before the big one was done. When the big one fell the other kids were so disappointed. (can you see them in the background)

We tried to put him back together and just smashed another ball. Goldie was sooooo sad.

Josiah on the other hand was happy. His art, his name in snow-

lived in glory...at least for a few hours.

Happy Birthday my love!

Gingerbread!

The gingerbread man is still one of Stuart's favorites.

During our recent Christmas we skipped the gingerbread houses with no complaints or questions. I didn't even mind myself...I was surprised.

For Christmas Mike and Stuart were given gingerbread pans and cookie cutters and we finally got around to making them on January 2nd. It was fun.
