And eat some eggs.
Eggs?

Is that what these are? We found them in the ground outside and they popped. Didn't seem to have anything in them, I figured they were eggs, but I'm not sure.

Random Greens

FHE Dirt

Green Worms were eaten for Family Home Evening last week with our own dirt recipie.

Playing in Color

Green is the color of Halloween. (I'm keeping you guessing here.)

Stuart

We've settled on a some costumes for Halloween. Now I've got to make them out of this green fabric.

Halloween Colors

And yes, I was just taking lots of photos for fun. I love the green colors in this one.

Goldie

And finally, this is Goldie in slightly green shirt that that she wore to our impromptu trip to storytime this morning. When we got home she combed her hair and put in clips. Oh if only I could convince her to do that FIRST! Isn't she gorgeous?

Good Things are Happening

Good things have been happening around here ever since my last post.

Mom-maw came for a visit

Wet camping

We went camping in the rain.

One down, 3 to go

I finished the dragon backpack. I've got three more to go.
It was part of a super-duper-secret-suprise I had made to entertain them while I was at Steve Miller's auction. I bought cheap fabric!

Yes, it is a bee's nest

A bee's nest grew on the shoe Jon (Mike's nephew) threw over the elecrical line. It's right over the road next to Mom-Maw's. I hope it doesn't get to heavy and go splat on a car.

Caught the moon

We caught the moon.

Unless I shine my falshlight

Josiah found a dark spot in the middle of the day, so he could shine his flashlight. It took me awhile to find hime in the pantry.

I love the counter!

Stuart has definetly entered the "I've got to be in the middle of everything you are doing stage" That means if I'm cooking he MUST be on the counter. Then the other two gotta get there too.

Standing

He is also into the the "I want to stand stage" He pulls on everything, beds, parents and siblings, and more.

Sewing

Goldie's learning to sew! I tried to teach her a few months ago and it didn't work. But then I read this blog entry at Sew Mama Sew and was very excited.

I decided to see if she could sew a triangle with a big needle and yarn.

People and Shapes

She did awesome. She was so pleased with her work that she drew her own picture and worked on it.

Three days later was Mom-Maw's Birthday. We made her an apron. We patterned it after the aprons that Katherine made our family for Christmas a couple of years ago. Goldie sewed a flower onto the pocket. She rocks!

Mail

Mail

Packages to open! We get super excited. What is in them? We love mail.

Which is displayed here in the lovely peanut can turned drum turned storage space.
Dreamed of & created by Goldie. Inspired by a craft book from Sam's Club.
