When we got going again, mom headed back to the car and Stuart decided he needed to hitch a ride on Aunt Charith

Amber has a new dog named Zick and Josiah stopped to give him some lovings.

When we reached the rapids we played around the water a bit more and a Gregg decided to jump in. So did Morgan and then the boys jumped in and saved her before she went down river.

In  the meantime Stuart took off aways back the way we came and so I went to catch up with him and then we kept going.

Allen Family Reunion 2015

July 19...packed up in the car beginning a thirty four hour drive to Idaho! We started out at two in the afternoon traveling through Kentucky, Indiania and Illinois. After all the boys had fallen asleep we told Goldie if she could stay awake for 30 more minutes she would see the St. Louis Arch. She didn't make it.
Beginning 34 hour trip

We forged on through the night, traveling through Missouri and then Nebraska. We took a break at a rest stop when the kids woke up on the morning of the 20th.
On the Road

By the end of the day we reached Wyoming and drove by the Wind Rivers. I wanted to jump out of the car, but just took pictures instead.

We arrived in Rexburg that night close to midnight and slept well. The next day we got to see Gid set apart at church and pass the sacrament and then we packed up and headed to Nephi's cabin in Island Park. From Sunday to Thursday we enjoyed the cabin, the beauty surrounding us, but most of all we enjoyed our family.
Walking at the Cabin

Mike and I went shopping with Kristina on Monday and saw this moose on our way back.

Hiking at Glenwood

When Grandma and Grandpa come we drop everything to go hiking. (I should do it even when they are not here.)

When I am hiking I tend to take more pictures too.

But I'd wish I'd had a picture of the moments surrounding this wagon ride. It was wild. Three boys flying down a hill as fast as they could possibly go without anyone to stop them and not a sound from any of them. Then plop. Over turned the wagon. The scratch on Bridger's nose was the only tell-tale sign anything had happened. It was an awesome experience.

We stopped at a gazebo near this lake.

We walked about 3.3 miles that day and it took us 2 and half hours to pull a wagon with two boys and one little one on my back.

Thanks for the good times!

Smiles, Dandelions, and Tye Dye

The boys love to pick dandelions for me. I threaten them if they pick the neighbors flowers, so they must think dandelions are my favorite. Josiah found this especially tall one the other day and it made me smile.

Its time to do another tye dye project as well. I feel it in my bones. These two shirts were made three years ago for their older brothers. But Ammon and Bridger look good anyway!
